YOUR 2008 EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

web_johnputt.jpgJohn Larson is presently serving as the President of the North Idaho Senior Games.

He has been a games participant for the past 9 years and served on the board for the past 4 years. Putting, horseshoes, bowling, track and field, and trap shooting are his favorite events. "I tried table tennis one year and last year I played golf; pickle ball looks like a lot of fun, I think I'll try that next year." "I get a lot of enjoyment from participating in the senior games."
Everyone over the age of 50 needs to continue to be active and involved. You don't stop playing games when you get older, you get older when you stop playing games.  We are trying to design the games to allow everyone an opportunity to participate at their own skill level.  You will meet a lot of genuine people who just want to get out and have some fun and get a little exercise while doing it.  So get off the side lines and into the game - you're not done yet!

Fill out the registration form and join in the fun and excitement of the Games.

Gene Thompson is serving as the Treasure of the North Idaho Senior Games.

This is the 5th year Gene has consented to serve  as the Treasure. His willingness to help and his skills as a very organized book keeper has been a great asset to the success of the program. His diligence in making sure that the funds of the organization are kept track of and that everything is accounted for is really appreciated.
Sobrina Shropshire is serving as the Secretary of the Executive Commitee and the Governing Board.

It is no small task keeping up with the minutes, the agendas, following up on assignments, and keeping everyone moving forward in an organized way. Sobrina is a great communicator and very willing to find time to assist with the success of the games. This will be her second year serving as the secretary and also the Picnic Committee Chairperson. "Great Job Sobrina!"
